Lightsparkles From the Heart

I cannot express enough how much I loved working with this client. This was one of those projects I got right on the very first try because of how well I clicked with her. Lightsparkles needed to be very visual, fun, organic, open, but simple since she didn’t have a lot of text content. She wanted illustrations, with an honest hand-drawn style to it all, while still maintaining a clean look overall. I took the sparkle part of her name literal and lit up the whole background with some subtle bokeh both in the header and footer. I also had a lot of fun drawing up some custom graphic illustrations for her categories – not something I usual do for ecommerce sites. In the end, the final design was something clean, simple, but exactly what we were both hoping for.
