When first talking with the folks at GrayCliff Wine House, they weren’t actually sure what they wanted yet. “Black? Something dark? Or two-toned! Maybe white?” Ultimately, they settled on one word – elegant – and let me have free reign with whatever I thought would be best for a brand new design for an up-and-coming wine house. They sent over a few photos of their establishment and that’s where the idea for the design came from. I chose colors that came directly from their wine bottles. A deep rich mahogany with subtle burgundies and accents that made you feel like the whole design could have been a fancy wine cellar.
